Palomar Orthopaedic Specialists was established in 1992 and it quickly grew to become the largest orthopaedic group and the largest orthopedic office in Escondido. The office includes an X-ray facility which provides digital X-ray services for the patients. The office is also located in the Hidden Valley Medical Building which houses an MRI facility and a physical therapy group.

The physicians of Palomar Orthopaedic Specialists do not use nurse practitioners, physician assistants or any other physician extenders.They believe that patients schedule "doctor appointments" for the purpose of being treated by a doctor. They believe that patients deserve one on one attention from their doctor and therefore, they personally perform all examinations, assessments, procedures, follow-ups, hospital care and surgeries.
